Pennsylvania Association of Campus Crime Prevention Practitioners |

HistoryThe Pennsylvania Association of Campus Crime Prevention Practitioners is an association consisting of College/University Police and Safety and Security officers. The primary purpose is to meet periodically to share common interests and to promote crime prevention on campuses throughout the State of Pennsylvania. Our organization was founded in 1986 as a result of the interest expressed by many college and university police and security personnel in an organization which would specifically focus on the special needs and shared concerns in crime prevention on college and university campuses. Interest in the organization has attracted members from schools throughout the state from Philadelphia to Pittsburgh. Our membership approaches 150 members from schools of all sizes and affiliations. The primary focus of the PACCPP is training. The association was established to develop a cooperation and camaraderie between all members with no regard to rank, position or institution. Reducing crime through training and education is our primary goal. |
